The back-and-forth sequence is totally overdone, frustrating. And this is from the same person who wrote the brilliant “Bourne”? Smartness is there, no questions, but the structure is faulty. Julia and Clive where very good, solid acting, charming, etc… but Paul Giamatti was the only interesting person on the screen.
