So what was the story about? Aggressive, troubled kid living in imaginary world full of monsters in constant sadness and pain? Sounds like mental illness. That could be ok if there was a point, but after all, nothing changed, he didn't help anybody, he didn't become better or smarter. Don't think it's a good movie for kids, and too childish and gloomy for adults. Cool characters, nice work with the costumes, not your usual CG. Nice soundtrack.
